Saturday Edit

Terms of Use

Effective September 17, 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Saturday Edit mobile app, website, waitlist, beta program, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). The Service is operated by Saturday Edit LLC (“Saturday,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

1. About Saturday Edit

Saturday Edit is a curated local discovery and editorial service designed to help people find plans, places, happenings, and other things worth knowing about in their communities. Saturday selects, edits, verifies, and presents information, but does not attempt to provide an exhaustive directory.

Unless we expressly say otherwise for a specific offering, Saturday is not the organizer, venue, ticket seller, reservation provider, transportation provider, employer, agent, insurer, or operator of the third-party events, places, businesses, services, or experiences described in the Service.

2. Acceptance of these Terms

By tapping “Get Started” after these Terms are presented, or by otherwise accessing or using the Service after being given access to these Terms, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy available at https://saturdayedit.app/privacy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Acceptance of these Terms does not replace any separate consent that applicable law or platform rules require for a particular data practice. For example, optional automatic product-usage reporting remains subject to the separate in-app Share App Usage choice.

3. Eligibility and use by minors

The Service is designed primarily for general local planning and may be used by teenagers as well as adults. If you are not old enough under applicable law to enter into a binding agreement on your own, you may use the Service only with the permission or involvement of a parent or legal guardian to the extent required by law.

Parents and legal guardians remain responsible for deciding whether an event, venue, activity, or destination is appropriate for a child in their care. Some listings may involve age-restricted venues or activities, and use of Saturday does not override those restrictions.

4. Editorial nature of the Service

Saturday provides editorial and informational recommendations. Selection is an editorial judgment, not a guarantee. A listing’s inclusion does not mean Saturday has inspected a venue, verified every circumstance, guaranteed quality or safety, or endorsed every product, employee, performer, organizer, opinion, or practice associated with the listing.

Saturday may choose to include, exclude, feature, deprioritize, update, or remove listings and editorial content in its discretion, subject to applicable law and any express commitments made for paid or sponsored content.

5. Listing accuracy, changes, and availability

We aim to keep listing information thoughtful, current, and useful. However, event and venue information can change after publication, sometimes without notice to us. Dates, times, prices, ticket availability, age guidance, accessibility information, parking, menus, weather policies, performer lineups, and other details may be changed by organizers, venues, or third parties.

Before making plans, traveling, purchasing tickets, making a reservation, arranging childcare, or relying on a material detail, confirm important information directly with the official organizer, venue, or source.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Saturday does not guarantee that every listing is complete, current, or error-free; that an event will take place as scheduled; that tickets, reservations, admission, inventory, or space will remain available; that weather, traffic, parking, transportation, accessibility, or venue conditions will be suitable; or that a recommendation will be appropriate, safe, enjoyable, or available for every person or circumstance.

6. Personal responsibility, travel, and safety

You are responsible for evaluating whether a plan is appropriate for you and anyone in your care. Use reasonable judgment about travel, weather, alcohol, water, animals, physical activity, age restrictions, accessibility, medical needs, childcare, transportation, parking, and other conditions that may affect an outing.

Some listings may involve wineries, breweries, bars, or other age-restricted venues or activities. Inclusion in Saturday does not waive or alter any legal or venue-imposed age requirement.

Saturday does not supervise third-party activities, provide emergency services, or assume responsibility for the conduct of a venue, organizer, performer, business, driver, participant, or other third party. In an emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service or venue staff rather than relying on the Service.

7. External links, purchases, reservations, and third-party services

The Service may link to organizer websites, venue pages, ticketing and reservation services, social platforms, forms, email applications, Apple Maps, Google Maps, payment pages, or other third-party services. When you use a third-party service, that third party’s terms, privacy practices, refund rules, accessibility policies, and other conditions apply.

Saturday does not currently sell tickets, process reservations, charge app users, or process payments through the Service. Saturday is not a party to a transaction merely because the Service links to it. Payments, tickets, reservations, refunds, cancellations, chargebacks, delivery, directions, and transaction disputes are between you and the relevant third party.

A link, reference, or listing does not by itself create a partnership, sponsorship, agency, endorsement, or affiliation.

8. Images, media, and illustrative content

Images are used to help communicate the character or context of a listing. Saturday-controlled hosted imagery in the current product is created for Saturday and may include illustrative or AI-assisted editorial imagery. Other media may be loaded from third-party websites or media hosts and remains subject to the rights of its respective owners.

Illustrative or AI-generated imagery is not a promise that the pictured scene, people, objects, weather, layout, or other visual details will exist at the actual event or venue. Do not rely on an illustrative image as factual proof of a venue’s appearance, amenities, accessibility, crowd level, menu, staff, performer, or conditions.

Third-party names, trademarks, logos, photographs, and other materials remain the property of their respective owners. Display of third-party material does not transfer ownership to Saturday or imply sponsorship or endorsement.

9. Saved items, reminders, and notifications

Saved listings, reminders, and notifications are convenience features. Delivery may depend on device settings, notification permissions, operating-system behavior, connectivity, time-zone settings, and other factors outside our reasonable control. We do not guarantee that a reminder or notification will be delivered at a particular time or at all.

You remain responsible for confirming event details and managing your own plans, reservations, tickets, deadlines, and travel.

10. Your submissions

You may choose to submit feedback, corrections, issue reports, suggestions, waitlist information, partner or editor inquiries, or other materials (“Submissions”). You are responsible for what you submit and represent that you have the right to provide it.

You agree not to submit material that is unlawful, fraudulent, intentionally misleading, threatening, abusive, discriminatory, harassing, defamatory, invasive of another person’s privacy, infringing, malicious, technically harmful, or unnecessarily sensitive, particularly where it concerns children or other people who did not consent to the disclosure.

You retain ownership of your Submissions. You grant Saturday a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license, and the limited right to allow our service providers to process the Submission on our behalf, solely as reasonably necessary to receive, review, store, reproduce, adapt, investigate, respond to, correct, secure, operate, or improve the Service. This license lasts only as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes, subject to backup, security, legal, and recordkeeping requirements.

If you voluntarily provide an idea, suggestion, or product feedback, Saturday may use the underlying idea or feedback to improve or develop the Service without an obligation to compensate you, provided that this does not transfer ownership of your pre-existing copyrighted material, trademarks, or other property.

We will not use a private Submission as an external testimonial or endorsement identifying you without separate permission where such permission is required.

11. Acceptable use

You may use the Service only for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes unless Saturday gives you written permission otherwise. You may not:

12. Saturday intellectual property and app license

The Service, including Saturday’s original editorial selection, organization, design, branding, text, software, and Saturday-created imagery, is owned by or licensed to Saturday and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party materials remain owned by their respective rights holders.

Subject to these Terms, Saturday grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use. No other rights are granted except as expressly stated or required by law.

Your use of the iOS application is also subject to applicable Apple App Store terms and Apple’s standard licensed-application terms. These Terms govern your relationship with Saturday and do not limit rights or obligations that Apple requires and that cannot be modified by these Terms.

13. Partners, sponsored content, and material relationships

Saturday does not currently accept payment from businesses for inclusion or placement in the Service. Editorial selection is currently unpaid.

If Saturday later introduces paid placements, sponsorships, affiliate relationships, free products or services, or another material connection that could reasonably affect how content is understood, Saturday will disclose the relationship in a clear and reasonably noticeable manner as required by applicable law and platform rules.

14. Corrections, content removal, copyright, and image-rights concerns

We welcome good-faith requests concerning inaccurate information, copyright or image rights, attribution, privacy, organizer or business removal requests, safety concerns, or other legitimate content issues. Contact hello@saturdayedit.app and provide enough information for us to locate and evaluate the material.

For a copyright or image-rights concern, it is helpful to identify the work or material at issue, the Saturday listing or page where it appears, the basis for your claim or authority to act, and a reliable way to contact you. We may request additional information reasonably necessary to evaluate the request and prevent fraudulent or abusive takedowns.

Submitting a request does not automatically establish infringement or require removal, and Saturday does not waive any defense, license, permission, fair-use argument, or other right by reviewing a request. We will evaluate legitimate requests in good faith and take action where appropriate or required by law.

15. Beta, pilot, and pre-release services

Some versions or features may be offered on a beta, pilot, invite-only, test, or limited-release basis. Pre-release services may change without notice, contain errors, be temporarily unavailable, have incomplete geographic or content coverage, or include features that are changed or removed before wider release. You use pre-release services at your own discretion and should not rely on them for time-critical, emergency, or safety-sensitive purposes.

16. Privacy

Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy available at https://saturdayedit.app/privacy. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference to the extent applicable to your use of the Service. Where law or a platform rule requires separate consent for a data practice, acceptance of these Terms alone does not replace that required consent.

17. Changes, suspension, and discontinuation of the Service

We may add, remove, modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service where reasonably necessary to improve the product, address security or legal concerns, respond to misuse, manage operational limits, discontinue a feature, or comply with law. We will not use this section to avoid obligations that cannot lawfully be waived.

You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination - including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limitations, dispute provisions, and obligations concerning misuse or Submissions - will survive to the extent applicable.

18. Promotions, contests, or sweepstakes

If Saturday offers a contest, sweepstakes, giveaway, or similar promotion, separate official rules or additional terms may apply. Those rules will control to the extent they conflict with these Terms. No promotion should be understood to be sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Apple or another platform unless the promotion expressly says so.

19. Disclaimer of warranties

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” SATURDAY DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, QUIET ENJOYMENT, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

We do not warrant that the Service or third-party content will always be secure, available, accurate, complete, current, suitable, or free from errors or harmful components. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty disclaimers, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.

20. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SATURDAY EDIT LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, AFFILIATES, SERVICE PROVIDERS, CONTRACTORS, AND REPRESENTATIVES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OPPORTUNITIES, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE.

This includes, to the extent permitted by law, claims relating to inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated listing information; canceled, postponed, changed, or unavailable events; third-party websites, businesses, organizers, venues, transactions, or services; travel, transportation, parking, ticketing, reservations, purchases, weather, or venue conditions; missed or delayed reminders; reliance on editorial recommendations; or technical interruptions outside our reasonable control.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Saturday’s total aggregate liability for claims arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid directly to Saturday for the Service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability to the extent it cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, and nothing limits rights you may have under non-waivable consumer-protection law.

21. Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Saturday Edit LLC and its members, managers, affiliates, service providers, contractors, and representatives from third-party claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful misuse of the Service, your material violation of these Terms, a Submission you provide, or your infringement or violation of another person’s rights.

This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from Saturday’s own unlawful conduct, gross negligence, willful misconduct, or another basis that cannot lawfully be shifted to you. Saturday will not seek indemnification for ordinary good-faith consumer use that complies with these Terms.

22. Disputes, informal resolution, and governing law

These Terms and disputes arising out of or relating to them or the Service are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent applicable consumer law requires otherwise.

Before filing a lawsuit, you and Saturday agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute informally. A party seeking resolution should send written notice describing the dispute and requested relief to hello@saturdayedit.app. Unless urgent relief is reasonably necessary, the parties will allow at least 30 days after receipt of the notice to attempt resolution.

The informal process does not prevent either party from bringing an eligible matter in small-claims court or seeking temporary or emergency injunctive relief where delay could cause irreparable harm.

Subject to rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer law, any court proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought in the state courts located in Suffolk County, New York, or in a federal court having jurisdiction over Suffolk County, and the parties consent to personal jurisdiction and venue there.

These Terms do not require arbitration and do not contain a class-action waiver.

23. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves or legal requirements change. When we update them, we will revise the effective date. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice or request renewed acceptance where appropriate or required. We will not apply a material change retroactively where doing so would be unlawful.

24. General terms

If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.

You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign or transfer these Terms as part of a merger, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, subject to applicable law.

We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, but this does not excuse obligations that applicable law does not permit us to disclaim.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms or official rules presented for a specific feature, purchase, partnership, or promotion, form the agreement between you and Saturday concerning the Service, subject to any additional non-waivable rights that apply.
